‘George St. United Church’ by Marilyn Goslin, 36″x48″, oil on Canvas, $2400
This recent painting depicts the Rowan Tree Preschool enjoying the Church Grounds on a sunny spring day, barely one month ago – a testament to the fact that Marilyn does not stop. She is very passionate about her art, and this comes through in her bold painting style and the speed with which new paintings are completed.
‘Port Granby Creek’, by Marilyn Goslin, 15″x47″, oil on canvas, $1800
Marilyn’s colourful paintings represent scenes throughout Canada, with a focus on Ontario where she spends most of her time. Working both on site and in her studio, Marilyn paints prolifically and is known for her striking colour combinations and bold brushstrokes. Christensen Fine Art has been showing Marilyn’s work for over 12 years, first showing her paintings at the Hunter West Gallery in 2004.
Marilyn’s latest collection of new work is on display in the gallery until the end of May. This show is fresh off the easel, some of the paintings so new that they were actually still drying when first brought into the gallery!
